Introduction
Chinese Drama KC is a vibrant and inclusive CCA where students of all Chinese proficiency levels come together to create great theatre. We participate in the Singapore Youth Festival biennially and were proud to earn a Certificate of Accomplishment in 2025, with our entire team performing onstage — a first for us!
Beyond SYF, we give back through annual showcases with Glowers Drama Group, interschool events, and exciting competitions like Theatresports at Dunman High. We also run workshops in lighting, music, and scriptwriting to build backstage skills.

Objectives
To promote the love of the arts and Chinese drama performance.
To expose students to acting roles on stage, duties backstage and to learn teamwork and nurture leadership skills.
Student Development Plan on SYF preparation in the year of SYF. To also plan for main events of the year such as CCA Fair showcase, Chinese New Year celebration performance at school and other school or external performances.
Programme (Year 1)
Basic skills in acting, voice projection and body language.
Programme (Year 2-4)
Internal: Chinese New Year celebration, Book and Music Week
External: SYF, Glowers Drama Group and Theatresports, NDP
Backstage: Lighting and music design workshops, props, and setting
Directing, scriptwriting and crafting of subtitles.
